Corona Extra is introducing its first ever bilingual and multicultural summer campaign called “Fill Your Summer.” Throughout the summer (from May 6 – Sept. 8, 2014) season, Corona, the beer synonymous with summer, will help consumers fill their summer to truly make it memorable. The platform is built around a single idea relevant to BOTH Hispanic and general market consumers: that Corona turns the ordinary summer moment into something extra. The brand will make summer extra special this year by providing new prizes for consumers to win each week. Corona has increased its national TV and Video media investment by 29%, on top of last year’s 30% increase, created two new Summer TV ads, and Corona Extra will have a presence in several high profile properties and programs in TV and Digital Video, including the NBA playoffs and a World Cup TV and digital sponsorship with Univision.
