Donates more than $13,000, following in-store promotion.
NOCO Express stores, its customers, and employees recently raised a total of $13,334 to support Hospice Foundation of Western New York. Throughout the entire month of July, paper sunflowers were sold for $1 each at all of NOCO Express’ 36 locations to support participating hospice programs in Western New York.
“Thank you to our employees and customers who joined together for the third year in a row to generously support Hospice and their ongoing work to provide care and compassion to individuals and their families,” said Jim DeFilippis, general manager, NOCO Express.
“The Hospice Foundation is proud to partner once again with NOCO on our annual Sunflower Days promotion,” said Katie Pirro, special events manager, Hospice Foundation. “The funds raised during Sunflower Days ensure that we always have a Hospice program right here in Erie County to serve our families, friends and neighbors during their most critical times in life. Thank you NOCO for your dedicated support of Hospice care and helping us to continue to care for those who need us most.”
The mission of Hospice is to provide hope, care and dignity to patients who face a life-threatening illness and their families. Patients receive hospice care every day in their homes, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and group homes throughout Western New York.
