In a foodservice survey of 22 leading convenience store chains, Whitehouse Station, N.J.-based QuickChek was voted No. 1 by consumers for its coffee in both Overall Beverage Quality and Food Quality.
In its 2014 survey, Consumer Brand Metrics: Convenience Stores, Technomic Inc., a leading food industry research company, asked respondents to identify the retail chains they visited from the 22 brands, then were asked detailed questions about their most recent visit to that c-store chain, followed by brand-specific questions relating to reasons for visiting, occasion and ratings of the brand across 50 attributes.
These attributes fall under the headings of Service and Hospitality, Unit Appearance and Ambiance, Food and Beverage, Convenience and Takeout, Value, Brand Image and Brand Loyalty and Fit. The consumer survey and data was collected from 2,413 respondents (roughly 100 per chain) across the U.S.
A market leader in food services with an exceptional fresh coffee and fresh food program dedicated to total customer satisfaction, QuickChek was rated first in Overall Beverage Quality (coffee) with a 96% rating (out of 100) and first in Food Quality with a 94% rating.
