Leiszler Oil Co. has selected Wayne Ovation fuel dispensers—equipped with the inOvationTV media program—as part of a major forecourt renovation effort at its Short Stop convenience stores and fueling sites in central and northeastern Kansas.
The inOvationTV media platform is offered jointly by Wayne Fueling Systems and Gas Station TV (GSTV).
“The inOvationTV media platform provides us with tremendous added-value,” stated Alison Leiszler Bridges, executive vice president, Leiszler Oil Co. “The promotional ads that GSTV produces for us every month will help us reduce our investment in pump-topper and other forecourt promotional materials, and the program will actually pay for itself over time.”
Addressing evolving technology needs is another major factor influencing Leiszler Oil Company’s decision to upgrade their sites. “Adopting the latest technology for our sites is important to us, and the inOvationTV media program includes a number of technology upgrades such as the Wayne Connect IP-485 wireless solution and Wayne Fusion gateway PC that help us prepare for the future,” elaborated Bridges. “Plus the program is backed by a six year warranty.”
Cameron Nokes, senior product manager for the inOvationTV media program at Wayne Fueling Systems, explained, “Under the program, retailers like Leiszler Oil Co. have the added assurance of knowing their Ovation fuel dispensers are EMV communications-ready and capable of supporting Near Field Communication (NFC) solutions as these payment technologies are implemented.”
Leiszler Oil Co., based in Clay Center, Kan. was founded by Bridges’ grandfather Glen Leiszler in 1932. Bridges’ father, George Leiszler, helped lead the company from 1969 until 2004. Today the company is led by Bridges and her sister, Samantha Leiszler Liby, executive vice president, Leiszler Oil Co. In addition to supplying fuel to its own stores and dealers, the oil company also has a transport division. The chain plans continued growth through strategic acquisitions and new construction.
“We’re very pleased to welcome Leiszler Oil Co. and Short Stop to the inOvationTV media network,” stated David Leider, CEO of GSTV. “This will allow their businesses to help provide an enhanced fueling experience for their customers, increase store traffic, and deliver incremental viewers in key Kansas metro areas.”
