Rutter’s recognizes employees with honors.
Rutter’s corporate employees, store employees and retirees donated $3,000 in toys and cash to local kids, and recognized several exceptional employees at the company’s annual banquet, bringing the company’s record-breaking year to a close.
Each employee in attendance donated an unwrapped toy to the Mont Alto Fire Company and the York Salvation Army. The groups will give the toys to local children in need, and will use the cash proceeds to purchase more toys.
In addition to the toy drive, Rutter’s recognized the excellent work of all Rutter’s employees, especially those receiving employees of the year honors. Those employees were:
Store Manager of the Year: Bruce Martin, Store #9, Delta Rd. in Red Lion.
Restaurant Manager of the Year: Courtney Anderson, Store #45 Pennsylvania Ave. in Stewartstown
Team Member of the Year: George Witter, Jr., Store #62 S. Richland Ave. York
Paul Sabold, a 36-year veteran of Rutter’s maintenance team, received the Corporate Making a Difference Award. Aaron Smyser, a bottling operator for Rutter’s Dairy, was named Rutter’s Dairy Employee of the Year.
