Over the past month, Supervalu’s hard-discount grocery banner, Save-A-Lot, has opened 13 new stores across eight states—its latest last week in Rockford, Ill.

The banner’s newest stores, according to company officials, focus on fresh, with a “commitment to bring “fresh produce, dairy and meats” to their communities.

The new stores are a combination of corporate-owned and licensed locations. They are located at:

• 25 W. Miller Avenue in Akron, Ohio

• 27 Callahan Avenue in Appalachia, Va.

• 401 S. Main Street in Kewanee, Ill.

• 6758 Winchester Road in Memphis, Tenn.

• 801 Black River Road in Rome, N. Y.
