Donates $1,000 to Woodrow Wilson Jr. High School.
Stripes Convenience Stores celebrated the opening of its first Stripes Convenience Store in Dayton, Texas with a grand opening fiesta and ribbon cutting ceremony Friday, May 22, 2015 at 811 Highway 90.
The grand opening celebration was held in honor of Stripes guests and showcased the many convenient and delicious foods available from Laredo Taco Co. located in the new Stripes Store.
The event recognized Dayton Chamber of Commerce members, City’s Mayor- elect, Jeff Lambright, Dayton Community Development Corporation representatives and Dr. Jessica Johnson, Superintendent of Dayton ISD. The ribbon cutting also included a $1,000 donation check presentation to Woodrow Wilson Jr. High School. The new Stripes Store has added over 30 new jobs to the Dayton community.
The entire community was invited to the grand opening celebration to sample delicious and fresh foods from Laredo Taco Co. and Stripes Stores. The first 200 guests at the grand opening celebration received a FREE Stripes refillable mug with purchase.
The new Stripes Store features Laredo Taco Co., offers Sunoco Fuel, the official Fuel of NASCAR and features 20 Sunoco-branded Fuel dispenser options, which include unleaded, super unleaded, diesel with truck stop. This location features dining area which seats 40, “the beer super cooler”—a designated cooler for beer/adult beverages set to cool below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, “the wall”—a creative space for customers to customize their cool with over 1.2 billion possible fountain combinations, as well as 7,000 square feet of fast, fun and friendly customer conveniences.
