Stripes Convenience Stores is building excitement amongst consumers by hosting celebrations to welcome its new product, Sunoco Fuel.

Stripes Convenience Stores hosted three “Neighborhood and Community NASCAR Celebrations” as part of welcoming Sunoco Fuel, the Official Fuel of  NASCAR, to Abilene, Texas. The entire community was invited to join Stripes team members at the following locations: (first celebration) 11 a.m.– 3 p.m., Monday, June 22 at 4057 Loop 322;  (second celebration) 11 a.m.– 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 23 at 2717 Industrial Blvd.; and (third celebration) 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 23 at 1409 Dub Wright Blvd.

Each event included special appearances by NASCAR Show Car #88 and Stripes mascots.  In addition, customers had a chance to win a $25 Stripes gift card, play games and sample delicious food from Laredo Taco Co. only at Stripes Stores.

These locations now offer Sunoco Fuel: unleaded, unleaded, super unleaded and diesel, along with a dining area which seats 20, “the beer super cooler” – a designated cooler for beer/adult beverages set to cool below 32 Degrees Fahrenheit, “the wall” – a creative space for customers to customize their cool with over 1.2 billion possible fountain combinations, as well as, 6,000 square feet of fast, fun and friendly customer conveniences.

The company operates over 675 convenience stores in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma, over 600 under the Stripes banner and 44 under the Sac-N-Pac banner. Restaurant service is available in over 440 of its stores, primarily under the proprietary Laredo Taco Co. brand.
