Parker’s hires an experienced loss prevention manager to protect its assets.
Jonathan Wilson has been hired as a loss prevention manager for Parker’s convenience stores.
Wilson is now responsible for protecting assets at all Parker’s locations using strategic safety, inventory recovery and theft reduction programs.
Before joining Parker’s, Wilson worked as a loss prevention manager at Kmart and Belk for five years. This accomplished reporting analyst and internal investigations expert earned an award for Kmart’s Top New Loss Prevention Manager in 2013.
“Jonathan has a distinguished career in loss prevention and a strong work ethic,” said Michelle Weckstein, director of human resources at Parker’s. “We’re delighted to welcome him to the Parker’s team.”
Originally from Odum, Ga., Wilson earned a Bachelor of Business in Information Systems from Georgia Southern University. He currently resides in Statesboro, Ga.
Parker’s has been ranked on Inc.’s elite list of the top 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. for three consecutive years and has opened eight new stores over the past year. Parker’s currently operates 37 convenience stores across the region and employs nearly 500 individuals throughout Georgia and South Carolina. Due to customer demand, the company is on a fast-track for growth and plans to open six new locations over the next eight months.
