C-store customers can enjoy free coffee through Aug. 30, and other grand opening specials.
Wawa Inc. has opened its 700th c-store location.
The new site opened Thursday, Aug. 20, in Bradenton, Fla. at 5306 14th St., Bradenton. A grand opening event began at 8 a.m. Thursday, the Bradenton Herald reported.
The grand opening include 700-themed festivities, including 700 free samples, 700 T-shirts given to customers and a prize for the 700th customer.
Other events included live entertainment, a charitable hoagie-building competition between members of the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office and Cedar Hammock Fire Control District.
Customers to the 700th store will receive free coffee through Aug. 30. Other grand opening specials include any size fountain drink for 59 cents and any Shorti hoagie variety for $2.99.
