Sheetz uses grand opening celebration as an opportunity to give back to the community.
The newest Sheetz Convenience Store opened in Stuarts Draft, Va. on Aug. 27. This new location offers convenience to customers in the surrounding Virginia area. The store’s grand opening was celebrated with fun games, free food and drinks to attendees. For a limited time, The new store is also offering free self-served coffee.
On Aug. 27, 2015 employees at the new location cut the grand opening ribbon at 11 a.m. with the locals and city officials.
“Virginia is a very important developing market for us,” said Ryan Sheetz. “The Virginia area has welcomed our innovative brand, and we want to continue growing our customer base. We are honored to be able to welcome another Sheetz in Virginia, and to make more connections with the surrounding community.”
The new store features the same MTO food menu as all other Sheetz, and has created 30 new full and part-time jobs. The new location also features a drive through option to order from the Sheetz MTO food and drink menu.
“All new store openings are an exciting and fun time, and we like to convey that to everyone by inviting them to sample our award winning foods and drinks while having the chance to win free giveaways,” Sheetz said.
During Thursday’s celebration, attendees were given the chance to participate in fun games and be a part of free giveaways. People were also invited to sample free food and drinks. The new store opening celebration also included a check presentation of $2,500 to the Special Olympics of Virginia. Sheetz has supported the Special Olympics through financial support, product support and event volunteers for over 20 years.
The new store will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
