VERC Enterprises strives to raise $10,000 for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
VERC Enterprises has announced that it will once again participate in the Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. The walk is slated for Oct. 4, 2015 at the Hatch Shell in Boston.
Presently, 45 VERC employees, family members and friends have signed on to participate in the fundraising event, according to Erin Fitzpatrick, the company’s marketing assistant/social media manager, noting that a goal has been set for 100 VERC team members.
The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is a powerful and inspiring opportunity to honor breast cancer survivors, increase awareness about the disease and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease through research, information and services.
VERC Enterprises is now accepting donations for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer at canisters placed in each of its 24 locations. Online donations are also being accepted.
The goal, according to Fitzpatrick, is to raise $10,000. Fitzpatrick added that “no donation is too small – it all adds up.”
VERC Enterprises has locations throughout Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
“It is our privilege to participate in an event that raises awareness about a disease that affects so many people,” said Leo Vercollone, CEO of VERC Enterprises, Inc. “We are grateful to our customers for the contributions already made to our team’s efforts to raise our goal of $10,000.”
