IGS CNG Services opens its second CNG fueling station in Speedway’s fueling network.
IGS CNG Services’ second Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) station within Speedway’s fueling network has opened. IGS CNG Services and Speedway LLC opened the new station in South Bend, Ind., at 6161 W. Brick Road, at the State Route 31 exit (exit 72) off Indiana Toll Road Interstate 80/90.
The CNG stations in Speedway’s network are now located in Findlay, Ohio and South Bend, Ind.
At the station, there are two fuel lanes, with four hoses dedicated to CNG. IGS CNG Services and Speedway serve a growing number of businesses with fleet vehicles looking for easy access to CNG stations while traveling through the region.
“We’re pleased to offer a domestic fueling option that is convenient to fleets traveling the I-80 corridor,” said Scott White, president of IGS Energy, parent company of IGS CNG Services.
The South Bend location is the eleventh in the IGS CNG Services family of stations that service the public. Of the 11 stations, this is the first in the state of Indiana. IGS CNG Services currently operates seven stations in Ohio and three stations in West Virginia. The Ohio CNG stations are located in Dublin (owned by the City of Dublin), Orrville, Girard, Findlay, Dayton, Obetz (south of Columbus) and Marengo. The West Virginia CNG stations are located in Charleston, Bridgeport and Jane Lew.
