Snyder’s-Lance is helping the less fortunate through sales of holiday snacks.
Snyder’s-Lance Inc. has introduced new snack offerings to help customers celebrate this holiday season. The offerings include chocolate-covered pretzels, festive cookies and flavored popcorn. On top of helping customers celebrate, Snyder’s-Lance is helping families in need by donating partial proceeds from the seasonal snacks to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
Select retailers will have specially-marked Toys for Tots displays with snacks from Snyder’s of Hanover, Lance, Cape Cod, Archway and Stella D’oro. For the first 500,000 packages sold, Snyder’s-Lance will make a contribution to support Toys for Tots up to $25,000 through Dec. 31.
“We are very pleased to welcome Snyder’s-Lance as a national corporate sponsor of the 2015 Marine Toys for Tots Campaign,” said retired Marine Major Bill Grein, vice president of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. “Their community service goals certainly align with those the Marine Corps has promoted for nearly 68 years through our Toys for Tots Program. With their generous support we will be able to fulfill the Christmas holiday dreams of thousands of less fortunate children who otherwise might be forgotten.”
Holiday items participating in the program include:
- Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzel Dips made with HERSHEY’S chocolate in milk, white and dark chocolate varieties
- New Cape Cod Popcorn Duos in two varieties of Cherry & Cinnamon and Honey Apple & Cinnamon
- Lance Seasonal Favorites Cookie Sandwiches featuring Chocolate Nekot with Mint, Nekot with Pumpkin Cheesecake and Sprinkled Sugar Cookies with Sweet Creme fillings
- Archway cookie favorites including Bells & Stars, Gingerbread Man and Wedding Cake
“At Snyder’s-Lance we have a passion for snacking as well as a passion for supporting the community,” said Rod Troni, chief marketing officer for Snyder’s-Lance. “Anyone shopping and snacking this holiday season should feel extra satisfaction because they are helping bring joy and hope to families who are supported by Toys for Tots.”
