Energy Transfer Partners has announced that Stripes will be moving some of its business North.
Stripes’ owner is planning to move more of its operations from southern Texas to Dallas.
According to a report from the Caller-Times, company officials recently informed employees that Stripes will soon open an office in Dallas, where Energy Transfer Partners, the company that last year acquired Stripes from Susser-Holdings, is located. The company plans to perform much of its corporate functions in Dallas, but they also intend to maintain their presence in Corpus Christi, where Susser-Holdings is based.
Although the move has been announced, the company has not released information on how many people will be moved North or whether the move carries potential job losses with it.
