New Lakewood QuickChek Location By CSD Staff | December 7, 2015QuickChek offers a number of promotions to customers at its newest location. QuickChek has opened its newest store in familiar territory. The Whitehouse Station, N.J.-based fresh convenience market chain opened a new 5,496-square-foot store at 901 Cedar Bridge Avenue in Lakewood on Tuesday, Dec. 1. Located across from FirstEnergy Park, home of the Lakewood BlueClaws, and the Lakewood Industrial Park, it will be the company’s second location in the township. The new store employs 40 people, most of who live locally. Each new QuickChek typically generates approximately $1 million in state and local tax revenue, adding to the positive impact QuickChek has on the local economy. “Lakewood is a large and vibrant community, we look forward to continuing to serve this market by providing neighborhood shopping destinations close to where our customers live and work,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling, whose family-owned company operates 143 retail locations throughout New Jersey, New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island. QuickChek stores provide one-stop shopping, offering a wide variety of grocery and market items including fresh baked goods from an in-store bakery and excellent customer service provided by locally hired team members. Its award-winning food and beverage program features touch-screen technology which allows consumers to create custom-made oven-toasted subs, sandwiches, wraps and salads. The company prides itself on its fresh-brewed coffee, which consumers voted the best coffee in America in a national survey conducted by Technomic. The new store will be open 24 hours a day and features a Q Café, which offers nearly 60 varieties of handcrafted drinks including macchiato, fresh brewed cappuccinos, lattes and espressos, blended-to-order real fruit smoothies and decadent frozen treats. Additional amenities include no-fee ATMs which provide additional added value to consumers, indoor seating for 13 people and outdoor seating for eight, eight gasoline pumps offering high-quality fuel at value prices and 55 parking spaces. Modern by industry standards, QuickChek maintains bright clean stores, well-lighted fuel stations and parking lots with wide, easy-to-use entrances and exits that add to a shopper’s convenience. As part of its dedication to the Lakewood community, QuickChek will donate $0.25 for every sub, sandwich and wrap sold in the store from Dec.1-Dec. 30, 2015 to the Lakewood Soccer Club U8 Galaxy team. Grand Opening promotions include free medium coffee and free 20-ounce iced coffee offered to all patrons and free 20-ounce fountain or QuickFreeze drinks for children five-feet-tall-and-under from Dec. 1 to Dec. 13, 2015.
