Parker’s is striving to save its customers money this holiday season.
Savannah, Ga.-based Parker’s convenience stores will be offering special “12 Days of Christmas” holiday discounts on gas at its 40 locations in Georgia and South Carolina. From Dec. 14-25, PumpPal members will enjoy automatic discounts of 12 cents per gallon.
“We want to help our customers keep more money in their wallet this holiday season,” said Greg Parker, president and CEO at Parker’s. “At Parker’s, we are deeply grateful for the loyalty our customers have shown us throughout the year. It’s our pleasure to lower gas prices for PumpPal members as a way to show our gratitude.”
Founded in 1976, Parker’s has earned accolades for its PumpPal program, which offers deep discounts on gas and has saved customers more than $5 million since its inception. Today, the PumpPal program has more than 100,000 members throughout Georgia and South Carolina. The company also launched a Parker’s Cash Card earlier this year, which has also enjoyed tremendous success.
Customers can sign up for a free PumpPal card online to take advantage of the holiday gas discounts.
Parker’s donates a portion of the proceeds from every gallon of gas purchased at all 40 of its convenience stores on the first Wednesday of each month to community schools through the Fueling the Community program. The company’s charitable initiative officially launched in the fall of 2011 and donates more than $100,000 each year to public and private schools in every community where Parker’s stores are located.
Parker’s currently operates 40 convenience stores across the region and employs nearly 500 individuals throughout Georgia and South Carolina. The company, which completes more than 80,000 transactions daily, will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2016.
