Stripes to donate $1,000 to local middle school as a part of its newest store’s grand opening celebration.
Friday, Dec. 18 marks the grand opening of the newest Stripes Convenience Store in Brownsville, Texas.
Stripes Stores is hosting a grand opening fiesta and ribbon cutting ceremony with the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce at 12 p.m. on Friday.
The ribbon cutting included a $1,000 donation check presentation to Vela Middle School which will fund the purchase of additional band supplies.
The store is located at 200 W. Morrison Rd, Brownsville, Texas. The new Stripes Store has added over 30 new jobs to the Brownsville community.
The entire community is invited to the grand opening celebration to sample fresh foods from Laredo Taco Co. and Stripes Stores. The first 200 guests at the grand opening celebration received a FREE Stripes refillable mug with any purchase.
The new Stripes Store features Laredo Taco Co., and 20 Valero branded fuel dispenser options, which include unleaded, super unleaded and diesel. This location features a dining area which seats 30, “the beer super cooler” – a designated cooler for beer/adult beverages set to cool below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, “the wall” – a creative space for customers to customize their cool with over 2.1 billion possible fountain combinations, as well as 7,000 square feet of fast, fun and friendly customer conveniences.
