NOCO employees and customers help to raise money for those most in need.
In this spirit of the holiday season, NOCO Express has donated $13,000 to The Salvation Army of Buffalo, N.Y. Each of NOCO Express’ 35 locations sold paper kettles for $1 each, throughout the month of November to raise money for The Salvation Army.
“Our in-store campaign to support The Salvation Army was a success as customers generously gave to support those most in need right here in Western New York,” said Jim DeFilippis, vice president and general manager, NOCO Express. “Thank you to our customers and associates who embraced the giving spirit of the season to help their neighbors.”
“The Salvation Army is blessed to have partners in the community such as NOCO, and their customers, helping us to Do The Most Good in our community,” said Major Thomas Applin, executive director, The Salvation Army Erie County. “This donation will go a long way in providing the programs, support and tools needed by our clients as they work toward self-sufficiency.”
The Salvation Army’s commitment to putting people first is the driving force behind its mission. Locally, The Salvation Army in Buffalo exists to offer hope for a better life by meeting basic human needs.
