Wawa begins new store openings for 2016. 

Despite traffic concerns and the highly contested location, Jan. 22, 2016 will mark the opening of the first 2016 Wawa location. The new “super” Wawa is located along route 130 in Hamilton, N.J.

According to a report from NJ.com, the new store is slated to open at 8 a.m. on Friday, and will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. The store is located on the plot of the former Harry’s Army & Navy Store at  3817 Crosswicks -Hamilton Square Rd.

The grand opening celebration for the 4,691 square foot store will also include fanfare, a charitable hoagie building competition and free coffee through Jan. 31. The c-store also feature 12 fueling pumps.

This grand opening, along with the opening of a Mount Laurel location, mark the first for Wawa in 2016. Both stores will offer grand opening discounts on both food and beverages.
