In order to support the convenience store industry’s forecasting and planning responsibilities for the new year, Convenience Store Decisions and Humetrics are collaborating to provide insight into the industry most challenging problem, finding, hiring, retaining and motivating employees.
For the eighth consecutive year, Convenience Store Decisions, in partnership with human resources expert Mel Kleiman is launching a confidential online survey to examine how key human resources strategies and practices in convenience retail have changed since last year. This key benchmarking survey will enable chains of all sizes to evaluate their recruiting, hiring and retention performance to enhance their competitive viability.
The survey also examines the industry’s current pay scale for frontline hourly employees and managers allowing hiring managers to understand exactly how their compensation packages stack up with others in the industry.
Participating retailers will receive a complimentary summary of results. Otherwise, we’ll share only key findings along with additional insights in the April issue of Convenience Store Decisions. The short, 15-minute survey closes March 13.
Participants in the 2016 Human Resources Survey will also:
1. Receive a complimentary copy of Humetrics’ white paper “How to Recruit Hourly Employees Using Craigslist.”
2. A month’s unlimited, free use of the Humetrics’ Pre-Interview Questionnaire. This newly developed tool not only screens in those best suited to the job, it also suggests specific interview questions to ask in order to ensure that “what you see is what you get.”
3. Be eligible for one of three, one-hour HR consulting calls with Mel Kleiman, an expert on how to recruit, select and retain the best hourly employees (a $400.00 value.)
