Domino’s has added another platform for customers to place orders through.
Convenience store operators take note: As QSRs and c-stores continue to compete for foodservice customers, Domino’s has officially made ordering pizza easier than ever.
According to a report from Fortune, Michigan-based Domino’s pizza chain has become the in the U.S. to offer customers the option to place orders with their Apple Watch.
Customers need only download the Domino’s app onto their Apple Watch, create a “Pizza Profile” and save their Easy Order, and they are ready to place their order. The Apple Watch is the newest platform that consumers can use to place and track their Domino’s pizza order.
The Fortune report notes that, with the addition of the Apple Watch, Domino’s now has nine platforms that support the company’s AnyWare ordering technology. The other ordering platforms customers can use include text message, tweet, Amazon Echo, Samsung Smart TV, Ford Sync, Android Wear, Pebble Watch, and the Domino’s app.
