All Fabulous Freddy’s Car Wash locations will soon be home to co-branded Dippin’ Dots and Doc Popcorn units.
The Fabulous Freddy’s Car Wash in St. George, Utah is now home to the first ever co-branded Doc Popcorn and Dippin’ Dots franchise unit. The official grand opening of the co-branded unit featured free samples, contests and other family activities. This location is the first of eight units that will open throughout Utah and Las Vegas Fabulous Freddy’s Car Wash locations, as a part of a licensing agreement that the companies signed last year.
Fabulous Freddy’s is a chain of eight car wash/convenience stores that focus on providing exceptional service in an energetic, cheerful atmosphere. Reminiscent of the days before self-serve gas stations, Fabulous Freddy’s provides attendants that pump your gas for no extra charge. Customers can also watch as employees hand wash their cars. All locations offer a wide array of snacks and treats inside their spacious convenience stores.
The licensing agreement with Fabulous Freddy’s is part of a national plan to expand Doc Popcorn/Dippin’ Dots co-branded franchises in high-traffic venues that attract families. The co-branded units give customers the opportunity to satisfy any sweet or savory snack craving with the offerings of Doc Popcorn’s fresh-popped, kettle-cooked popcorn and Dippin’ Dots’ iconic flash-frozen ice cream, sundaes, floats, shakes and quakes.
“Doc Popcorn, Dippin’ Dots and Fabulous Freddy’s all share a similar energy. Each of us is focused on fun, convenience and creating smiles,” said Jeff Warnick, chief financial officer of Fabulous Freddy’s. “When the opportunity presented itself to include the brands in our car wash/convenience stores, we jumped on it.”
