The new partnership with VP Racing is expected to take RSI’s revenue stream to a whole new level.
Ramos/Strong, Inc., doing business as RSI Petroleum Products, is now the newest partner in VP Racing Fuels’ retail branding program.
Based in Mojave, California, RSI supplies 60 retail sites throughout Southern California, primarily east of the Sierra Nevada range.
“We’ve done well in the unbranded retail market, but VP Racing Fuels takes that concept to another level,” said Larry Mitchell, vice president, secretary and general manager of RSI. “The ability to purchase unbranded supply at a lower cost is key to competing with the independents, but the VP brand also has greater appeal to the performance enthusiasts in our customer base. With each VP-branded site carrying 5-gallon pails of race fuel, they’ll attract this key customer segment and generate a significant new revenue stream, particularly at sites near racing and recreational venues like the Glamis sand dunes.”
“VP’s branded additives and small engine fuels also generate new revenues and their low credit card fees will reduce our expenses,” Mitchell continued. “All these factors serve to increase profits so it was an easy decision for us and will be more beneficial to our dealers.”
