Speedway is hosting a number of job fairs to assist in its search for over 500 new team members.
Speedway has announced that it will be holding a number of job fairs in four states as the company looks to hire a slew of new employees.
According to reports from HCP Press and The Orlando Business Journal, Speedway LLC has announced plans to hire more than 500 employees in the North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Virginia markets. The company, which operates approximately 2,770 company-owned and -operated gasoline and convenience stores in 22 states, will hold job fairs in each state where it is looking for new employees next week.
The company has announced that it is primarily searching for full- and part-time customer service representatives, along with full-time store leadership positions, including shift-leader trainee and co-manager trainee positions, according to HCP Press. Speedway offers a number of benefits to its full-time employees, including coverage through medical, dental and vision plans upon enrollment. Additionally, all new employees are eligible for a company match 401k program.
Additionally, HCP Press reported that Speedway also offers flexible schedules, monthly bonuses and tuition reimbursement to eligible employees.
According to a report from News Channel 8, Speedway held job fairs in 19 locations throughout Florida on Wed., June 15, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., and HCP Press reported that the company will hold job fairs in the North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia markets on Thursday, June 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
