With the opening of its new Arizona store, Love’s now employs more than 120 ingividuals in the greater Phoenix area.
Love’s Travel Stops has opened the doors to a new store located in the Phoenix metro-area, along Interstate 10. The new store adds approximately 40 jobs to the Maricopa County, Ariz. community.
“With its strong tourism industry and several major thoroughfares, the greater Phoenix area is an ideal location, and it gives us the opportunity to reach new customers,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s Travel Stops. “We can’t wait for Customers to enjoy all of our wonderful amenities and to serve them with the ‘Clean Places, Friendly Faces’ Love’s is known for.”
Between the current Love’s Travel Stops in Buckeye and Chandler, Ariz., and the new location in Tolleson, Ariz., Love’s employs more than 120 people in the greater Phoenix area. An 87-room Best Western Plus, operated by Love’s Travel Stops, is scheduled to open this fall adjacent to the Love’s in Chandler, Ariz., which will add 15 more jobs.
The 24-hour, 12,000 square-foot facility in Tolleson features Subway and Carl’s Jr. restaurants, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift merchandise, name-brand electronics and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of seven showers and 89 truck-parking spaces.
Love’s will donate $2,000 to Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix as a part of a ribbon cutting at the new Love’s at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 24. Members of the community are invited and encouraged to attend the ribbon cutting.
