Bright signs add greater visibility and increase G&M station activity both during the day and in nighttime conditions.
In an effort to improve the purchasing process for customers, increase employee safety and enhance energy efficiency, G&M senior vice president and general manager Julie Jackson has selected PWM’s SMD LED price sign technology for more than 100 of the company’s Chevron branded and independent stations.
With visibility of more than 500 feet, in daylight and nighttime conditions, PWM’s SMD LED signs stand out to customers, driving increased activity at G&M’s stations.
“PWM’s SMD technology price signs feature bright, easy-to-read pricing for our customers,” said Jackson. “The technology reacts very well in all types of climate conditions and is backed with an industry leading warranty. Those features and the PWM customer support efforts have made G&M’s decision for moving to electronic price signs an easy business decision and we continue to see increased customer activity at our stations.”
PWM’s SMD LED technology interfaces with a radio-controlled device that allows employees to change prices electronically and on-demand. This is a significant improvement in safety for employees who previously had to go out into the elements and use ladders or risers to physically change the prices on the signs. Now all of that can easily be completed from the ground inside the store.
Another benefit of the PWM smart SMD technology is that it includes built-in sensors that are responsive to lighting conditions, thereby saving energy when it’s not necessary to light the sign as brightly while maintaining optimum visibility for customers 24/7.
“G&M recognizes a reduction in energy consumption with each install,” said Jackson.
PWM is committed to providing the latest technology to its customer’s, backed by excellent service.
“The team at PWM is very customer focused. They take time to understand G&M’s goals and provide very good solutions for our business,” added Jackson.
“Delivering on our promise of quality and service is paramount to us. We’re pleased to have G&M as a customer and look forward to helping their stations stand out from the competition for years to come,” Wolfgang Manz, president of PWM North American said.
