On Thurs., June 30, 2016, Love’s Travel Stops opened two new stores in Kansas. One of the new stores is located at U.S. Highway 81 and 7th Street, Belleville, Kan., and the other is located along U.S. Highway 54 and U.S Highway 83 in Liberal, Kan.
Belleville, Kan. Location
The new store in Belleville, Kan. has brought approximately 30 jobs to Republic County.
“Belleville is a great community next to a well-traveled highway so this is an exciting day for us,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s Travel Stops. “We look forward to serving everyone with the ‘Clean Places, Friendly Faces’ Love’s is known for, for many years to come.”
The 24-hour, 5,000 square-foot Belleville travel stop features a Subway restaurant, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift merchandise, name-brand electronics and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of two showers and 65 truck-parking spaces.
Love’s will celebrate the opening of the new location with a ribbon cutting to be held in the coming weeks.
Liberal, Kan. Location
A new Love’s featuring the company’s first Taco John’s restaurant is now open in Liberal, Kan.
“Opening a travel stop with our first Taco John’s is exciting for us as we continue to find new ways to serve our loyal Customers,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s Travel Stops. “Providing a new dining option with other driver services along two well-traveled highways shows our commitment to our Customers.”
Taco John’s prides itself on serving generous portions, menu items prepared fresh to your order, high quality ingredients and unapologetically original recipes, seasonings and sauces. It is famous for value deals like Taco Tuesday and a widely popular side dish – Potato Olés – that are only available at Taco John’s.
In addition to Taco John’s, the 24-hour, 5,000 square-foot travel stop features fresh fruit, gourmet coffee, gift merchandise, name-brand electronics and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of two showers and 36 truck-parking spaces. The new Love’s employs approximately 40 people.
Love’s will donate $2,000 to a local nonprofit as a part of a ribbon cutting to be held in the coming weeks.
These new stores opened in the middle of a record year for Love’s. The Oklahoma City-based company is on track to open more than 40 new locations this year nationwide, which will be the most Love’s has opened in a given year in Love’s history. Love’s began with one location in Watonga, Okla., in 1964, and has grown to more than 380 locations in 40 states. Four Kansas locations have already opened this year with three more scheduled to open by next spring.
