The c-store chain gains better control over inventory with Pinnacle Corp.’s Dispatcher Workstation.

Obtaining complete control over fuel inventory from ordering to projecting sales and beyond is a key concern for any c-store operation that also sells fuel.

Double Quick, based in Mississippi, is using Pinnacle Corp.’s Dispatcher Workstation to more effectively control its fuel inventory, ordering and dispatching when working with Fuel Smart.

Family owned, with 51 retail fuel locations, Double Quick was looking for a fuel management solution that would give it better control over inventory. The chain needed to have an internal process to know best when to get readings, what load delivery turnaround times are for site locations, and be able to project sales for each site location.

With Dispatcher Workstation, Double Quick is able to have complete control over fuel inventory with effective ordering and dispatching. Product run-out has been drastically reduced and is now a rare occurrence. Double Quick is also able to resolve paperwork issues quickly when a store is out of balance.

“Being able to configure custom rules and get alert notifications via email when rule conditions have been met has eliminated the need to continuously monitor tank inventories,” said Carson Crawford, staff accountant at Double Quick.
