Scotsman has hired an individual with an impressive foodservice background to serve as the company’s new vice president of sales and marketing.

Scotsman Ice Systems has hired Nick Mirkovich as the company’s new vice president of sales and marketing. In his new position, Mirkovich is now responsible for managing sales through distribution, key chain and direct accounts throughout the Americas.

Mirkovich will be based at Scotsman Ice Corporate Headquarters in Vernon Hills, Ill.

With an extensive foodservice background, Mirkovich has spent nearly 15 years working in sales, marketing, product management and retail capacities at such companies as Newell-Rubbermaid, and most recently, Pactiv Food Packaging LLC as the national sales manager.

“Nick has a strong track record in the foodservice industry that is highlighted by sales management, but also includes proven experience in market planning and customer service to reach organizational goals. I am confident he will be a valuable asset to both our market efforts, and as a key contributor to my management team,” said Scotsman president, Kevin Clark.
