Steri-Straw, the only automatic straw dispenser that sterilizes straws, has introduced a new model of the device with a splash-resistant lid. In addition to preventing liquid damage, the improved model is faster and can dispense sterile, unwrapped straws every one-and-a-half seconds. Steri-Straw leverages a motion sensor and ultraviolet light for automation and sterilization. Patrons simply wave their hand beneath the device and will almost immediately receive an unwrapped sterile straw. Steri-Straw is the highest volume straw dispenser on the market and can hold up to 600 sterile straws. An Internet of Things-enabled screen for operators to run advertisements, marketing promotions and CRM strategies will be released later this year.
