Proceeds to benefit The Lighthouse of Houston, which provides resources for the blind and visually impaired.
Northwest Petroleum LP is set to hold its first Charity Classic Golf Tournament in which all proceeds will benefit The Lighthouse of Houston, an organization that is dedicated to providing education, recreation and career resources for the blind and visually impaired.
The golf tournament will be held at the Black Horse Country Club located at 12205 Fry Road, Cypress, Texas 77433 on Friday, Sept. 9, 2016 at 10 a.m. CST with Golf Registration opening at 10:30 a.m. CST. Platinum level donors include Phillips 66, Motiva, Amegy Bank and Gilbarco.
The Lighthouse of Houston serves approximately 7,000 people each year and is a member agency of the United Way of Greater Houston. The primary goal of the Lighthouse of Houston is direct service to the individual. This includes not only providing direct service to the blind or visually impaired, but a continual commitment to improving the quality and relevance of this service. All other organizational activities and functions are in support of this primary focus and have as their goal the development and dissemination of better service designs and interventions in order to enhance the optimal functioning of the blind or visually impaired individual.
