If an item you need isn’t on the truck, you will receive it at no cost during your next service visit.
The new Rolling Warehouse Guarantee from TBHC Delivers, the largest distributor of Hunt Brothers Pizza, is helping to ensure that the company’s c-store customers are always stocked with the necessary products need to sell hot, made-to-order pizza, wings, WingBites and cheese bread.
The Rolling Warehouse Guarantee states that, if a store owner needs any food items, small wares or other supplies that are not on the truck during a regularly scheduled delivery, those items will be supplied at no cost during the next delivery.
“Even though this is still a relatively new program, the Rolling Warehouse Guarantee is already making TBHC Delivers an even better company both internally and externally,” said Chip Chaffin, operations support manager. “Implementing this initiative forced us to rethink our current policies and procedures and assess whether we were truly reaching the highest level of customer service. With the Guarantee, our account managers feel prepared and confident every time they visit an existing or potential customer, and our store owners never have to worry about not having what they need to effectively operate their Pizza Shoppe.”
The Rolling Warehouse Guarantee was created by TBHC Delivers to further the company’s 15-point Service Promise, which strives to provide excellent service at every visit to every customer every time.
“If I’m in need of an item, I can count on TBHC Delivers to have it to me during their next visit,” said Jay Walden, a TBHC Delivers customer who owns Walden’s Grocery in Scottsboro, Ala. “It is a major time-saver because I don’t have to spend my time looking for the items I need to properly operate my Pizza Shoppe.”
As part of the new Rolling Warehouse Guarantee initiative, TBHC Delivers made a $1,800 upgrade to all of its delivery trucks, which deliver to over 3,000 convenience stores per week. Each truck acts as a true warehouse on wheels and stocks approximately 55 items, including everything from a variety of pizza toppings to pizza cutters and store signage.
