Burger King has created a burger-burrito crossover.
Burger King has launched another fast-food mash-up to close out the summer.
Earlier this summer, Burger King launched the revolutionary Mac ‘n Cheetos mash-up, and on August 15, Burger King introduced its newest creation: the Whopperito, Newsday reported.
According to Newsday, this new mash-up is a burger-burrito crossover, and it is being offered at participating restaurants for a limited time only. This new fast-food phenomenon takes the famous Whopper taste to a different level, swapping the bun for a flour tortilla, the new burrito-burger is stuffed with spice-dressed beef and is layered with tomatoes, onions, lettuce and pickles drizzled with a slightly spicy queso sauce.
This new Tex-Mex creation is selling on its own for $2.99 or as a combo meal for$4.99.
