Rutter’s newest Pennsylvania location will be one of the first Rutter’s stores to feature a Beer Cave.
On Wed., Aug. 31, 2016, Rutter’s opened the chain’s 64th convenience store. The store, which is located in Mercersburg, Pa. is the company’s sixth location in Franklin County.
The new store is in the heart of Mercersburg on North Main Street, six miles off of Route 30, in the old Bob Hoffman Chevrolet Services location. This location will require 50 new employees. The Mercersburg location is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and offers award winning food and world class convenience. The store has 12 auto fueling stations and two stations dedicated to high speed truck diesel. For customers looking for in-house seating, the dining area seats over 30 guests and offers free Wi-Fi. This new location also features Rutter’s espresso bar and beverage center serving hand-crafted beverages such as fruit smoothies, Red Bull smoothies, frappes and lattes.
This location will also one of the first Rutter’s to be equipped with a Beer Cave, which is currently pending final license approval. The Beer Cave will be open sometime in September and feature a broad selection of domestic, imports and craft beers.
