Receives “You Make It Happen” award from New England Car Wash Association.
Paul Vercollone, vice president of VERC Enterprises, was recently honored by the New England Car Wash Association (NECA) with the “You Make It Happen Award.”
Vercollone received the honor during the Nov. 2 NECA meeting held at the Crown Plaza in Woburn.
Dave Ellard, president of NECA’s Board of Directors, presented Vercollone with the award, which is annually given to a member who consistently gives back to the association as well as to the communities he/she serves.
Vercollone, who served as president of the Association in 2007 and 2008, was lauded for his fundraising efforts for the NECA Scholarship program, the Association’s annual golf tourney and his support of NECA’s Wash for a Cause program.
Recognized for “his generosity, positive outlook, sense of humor and sense of style,” Vercollone also received kudos as vice president of VERC Enterprises, a company that is distinguished as a leader in employing those with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
“It’s an honor to be acknowledged by my industry peers,” said Vercollone. “NECA has advanced, safeguarded and supported its members since its founding in 1973; I’m proud to be part of an organization that enhances the professionalism of the car washing industry in New England.”
