OPEC deal sends pump prices higher.
Prices at the gas pump are now posting at the highest mark since October.
The national average price of gas has continued to grow for 20 of the past 21 days $2.24 per gallon, an increase of 11 cents, according to AAA.
The price is 24 cents more than the same date last year.
AAA pointed to market expectations of tighter availability following the announcement of an OPEC deal to cut oil production that is scheduled to start in January 2017, as the reason behind the uptick.
Arkansas ($2.02) and Oklahoma ($2.02) currently have the least expensive gas average in the country, while Hawaii ($2.95) and California ($2.67) have the most expensive gas.
