Teams plan and implement strategies for new solutions during annual meeting.
The Pinnacle Corp. (Pinnacle), held its Annual Strategy and Planning Meeting Jan. 19-20 at its headquarters in Arlington, Texas.
The meeting brought together Pinnacle’s Senior Management, Product Management and Development and Sales and Marketing teams to plan and implement strategies for new solutions and updates to their existing product lines, POS, Loyalty and Mobile. The team is excited about plans to grow new and existing Pinnacle solutions that will continue to address the latest industry trends to meet retailer needs now and in the future.
Among top items discussed, the Pinnacle Affiniti Mobile platform continues to play a crucial and exciting role in the progression of our Mobile and integrated Loyalty offerings. Lynch Oil, with its Mr. Gas Affiniti Mobile App, has completed the final stages of beta development and the Lynch team is excited to see the anticipated results of improved adoption, promotions and traffic since testing began in late September.
“Today’s consumers keep their mobile phones closer to their hand than the wallet that holds their cards. Offering a mobile app to our customers allows us to offer convenience before they even walk in the store,” said Nick Lynch, president of Triple S Oil. “Consumers will be able to sign up for loyalty rewards directly through the app, they’ll also get promo offers, updates on pricing, and they’ll be able to check their loyalty points balance including their status on their club punches. We are looking forward to the new opportunities that our Mr. Gas mobile app offers our business and our customers.”
In addition to Affiniti Mobile, the Pinnacle Loyalty Suite is now the most device and system malleable in the industry. Soon able to integrate with POS systems in addition to Pinnacle’s Palm POS, the Loyalink loyalty solution integrates easily with existing back office and front of house software- making ease of implementation fast and efficient, so retailers and their customers can start gaining value quickly.
With regards to POS, Pinnacle continues to be the industry leader in completing EMV certification and meeting regulatory requirements. The Palm POS system has been and continues to be the most open, flexible, platform enabling a customized fit to each client’s unique operation. The strategy and planning meeting included conversations about new POS features and Pinnacle’s continued successes related to being a POS provider with more integrations with more partners than any other company. A strength that has and will continue to propel Pinnacle’s POS solution forward is the strategy of a POS platform that protects and preserves the retailer’s investment. The architecture you ran yesterday will be what you run tomorrow; we innovate with software, not hardware.
Through industry involvement such as its partnership with NACS and the SkimDefend Mobile App, Pinnacle is making customer data security and convenience store liability priorities the safest and most cost effective environment possible. And with the release of the SkimDefend Multi-Site Mobile App, retailers who manage multiple convenience stores will have the benefit of corporate loss prevention reporting to alert them to possible label tampering resulting in risk of skimming or other theft.
Pinnacle continues its decades long commitment to the convenience store industry now and into the future with innovation and thought leadership. Pinnacle Point of Sale, Loyalty and Mobile solutions give retailers the decided edge over competition- driving traffic, driving sales and driving profits.
