Rutter’s looks to offer beer in as many stores as possible.
Rutter’s has just remodeled its Middletown, Pa. location to incorporate a beer cave, making it the first convenience store in Dauphin County to offer a Beer Cave to customers.
Previously, Rutter’s remodeled its Waynesboro, Pa. location to include a Beer Cave. This was the second Rutter’s store—and one of only two convenience stores—to have beer in Franklin County (in addition to the Mercersburg Rutter’s).
Rutter’s will continue to stock its Beer Caves with a wide assortment of craft, domestic and imported beers and ciders. Singles and six-packs are offered in the front cooler doors, and 12-packs are located inside the Beer Cave.
Rutter’s Beer Caves, as well as inside the cooler doors, feature a temperature of 29 degrees. This is the perfect beer drinking temperature. In addition to being renovated to offer beer caves, the Waynesboro Rutter’s and Middletown Rutter’s have seating for at least 30 guests.
Customers can purchase items from the Beer Cave Monday thru Saturday from 7 a.m. until 2 a.m. and on Sundays from 9 a.m. until 2 a.m. These hours are in compliance with Pennsylvania Law.
“Rutter’s is striving to get beer in as many of our stores, present and future locations, as possible. Waynesboro and Middletown are two very popular locations for us and we are excited to be able to provide this offer for our loyal customers, giving the convenience they deserve,” said Robert Perkins, vice president of marketing.
