Kamut International’s popular Kracklin’ KAMUT wheat snack has a new package and a new home. Due to increasing demand, Big Sandy Organics, producer of the snacks, has already outgrown its first building in Big Sandy, Mont., and moved to a larger facility, also in Big Sandy. Kracklin’ KAMUT is a nutritious and delicious snack made with only three ingredients, including the ancient grain KAMUT brand khorasan wheat, which is organically grown in Montana and carefully roasted in small batches at the Kracklin’ KAMUT plant using Montana-grown, organic, cold-pressed, hi-oleic safflower oil, which is fresh-pressed nearby at The Oil Barn, and then the grains are lightly seasoned with sea salt from ancient buried sites in Utah. The new Kracklin’ KAMUT snack now comes in a sleeker package to reflect the clean and simple wholesome goodness of this snack, which is non-GMO, contains no cholesterol and no trans fat. Each 1.4-ounce bag contains only 190 calories, six grams of fat, no sugar and boasts five grams of protein.
