QMart Convenience Stores is making the holiday season brighter for children at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Houston-based convenience store chain, QMart, made it its mission to provide cheer to patients at Texas Children’s Hospital and donated 500 toys with their Give Joy with a Toy campaign.

“We are committed to being fully engaged with the communities where we do business. Our Give Joy with a Toy campaign is an example of this effort, and we are truly grateful for those that contributed,” said Fazil Malik, CEO, QMart.

In addition to donating new and unwrapped toys, participants of QMart’s Give Joy with a Toy campaign had a buy one, give one option where the store gave a toy to Texas Children’s for each toy purchased. The campaign began in the middle of Nov and ended Dec 15 in more than 20 QMarts locations throughout Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. Toys were delivered by Santa at Texas Children’s Dec 18 with the help of store employees and QMart’s CEO.

QMart promoted the campaign inside each location and on social media where they received several positive comments from guests and followers who commended efforts to uplift spirits during the holiday season.

“It’s important to keep the surrounding community involved in our efforts, and we are delighted to support deserving organizations such as Texas Children’s,” added Malik.
