Caracci to manage new store site design and due diligence.
Parker’s Convenience Stores has hired civil engineer Adam Caracci as its new construction project manager. Caracci brings more than five years of civil engineering experience to his position at Parker’s, including three years in the convenience store industry.
In his new position at Parker’s, Caracci manages new store site design and due diligence, including entitlements and permitting. He is responsible for managing the construction phase of developing new Parker’s stores and providing support during the site selection process.
Before joining Parker’s, Caracci served as an engineering project manager and engineering analyst for RaceTrac Petroleum in Atlanta for nearly four years. During his tenure with the company, he was responsible for site design and permitting for RaceTrac and RaceWay convenience stores throughout the Southeast.
“Adam brings highly relevant, industry-specific experience and is an excellent addition to the growing team at Parker’s,” said Parker’s President and CEO Greg Parker. “We are confident that he will help us strategically expand our corporate footprint in new and existing markets.”
Caracci is certified by the American Concrete Institute and formerly performed construction materials testing and geotechnical assessments for Geo-Hydro Engineers in Kennesaw, Ga.
Originally from Savannah, Caracci earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech, where he received the GAF Materials Corporation National Merit Scholarship as well as the F. Everritt Williams Scholarship. He currently resides on Wilmington Island, Ga.
Parker’s operates 51 convenience stores across Georgia and South Carolina and employs nearly 1,000 individuals throughout the region.
