Pennsylvania-based properties are ideal for owner operators or distributors.
NRC Realty & Capital Advisors LLC (NRC) is facilitating the sale of Tom’s Travel Centers. Two travel centers located in east central Pennsylvania are for sale via NRC’s sealed-bid sales process.
One of the properties is located in Milroy, which is about 25 miles south of State College, and the other is in Mifflintown, which is about 45 miles from State College. Both sites are on US 322, which is a four-lane divided highway running through State College to Harrisburg. The properties and are being sold with or without fuel supply on a ‘buy one or both’ basis.
The Milroy property features a 13,000-square-foot building with a convenience store and truck oriented retail area with a trucker lounge, showers and offices. The property also has an Arby`s restaurant. The total site is approximately 27 acres.
The Mifflintown property is on a 9.4-acre site, which includes a 5,700 convenience store, a 47-unit two-story Econo Lodge, and a freestanding JP’s restaurant with 15 unused lodging units. The restaurant building also has a second-floor meeting room.
Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf recently signed legislation that would allow qualifying “truck stop establishments” to house up to five video gaming terminals.
“These properties are ideal for owner operators or distributors,” said Evan Gladstone, NRC’s Executive Managing Director. “They are highly attractive properties,” Gladstone said.
The properties are being sold through NRC’s sealed bid sale process with bids due on April 10.
