The Texas retailer now operates 26 convenience stores throughout Houston and Austin.
QMart recently hosted grand opening events with fuel partner, Phillips 66, for Houston, Texas locations that were either new or recently remodeled. Upon entering a new QMart, guests are transported to something that diverges from the typical convenience store experience.
The new and remolded stores sport high ceilings, ample aisles and large windows to let natural light in during the day. Stores are technologically progressive, containing digital menu boards and smartphone charging stations. There’s also a full deli with staff preparing made-to-order breakfast and lunch items.

“At QMart, we want to transform what our guests think about convenience stores. It starts by inviting members of our store’s community to grand openings that are action-packed with opportunities for them to experience the very best we have to offer in one visit,” said Fazil Malik, CEO, QMart.
In honor of the events, QMart also donated $1,000 to five local school districts: Spring Independent School District, Spring Branch Independent School District, Alief Independent School District, Liberty High School, and Dickinson Independent School District.
“QMarts serve their surrounding neighborhoods and are proud to make investments in efforts that help educate youth,” added Malik. “Involvement in communities is what makes our relationship with guests special.”
