Foodservice agency brings in industry veteran to lead media strategy.
Elizabeth Distel-Grady, a 20-year veteran of results-driven marketing and media, joins Esrock Partners as the foodservice agency’s new media director.
Esrock Partners works with the non-commercial, commercial and ingredients segments of the food and foodservice industry. It has specialized in food, foodservice, equipment and ingredient strategic planning, advertising and marketing communications since 1978.
Distel-Grady’s diverse experience in brand building, technology, digital media, social media, strategic planning, audience segmentation and channel strategy will bring instant value to every foodservice brand Esrock represents.
Distel-Grady’s food experience includes media planning and buying for world-renown brands like Kraft, Nestle and Wrigley. Her media career includes agency and client roles alike, working with companies such as W.W. Grainger, U.S. Cellular, Doner and Energy BBDO. Her extensive print background is a good match to the foodservice industry’s historical investment, however, her more recent experience with behavioral marketing and digital media aligns with evolving clients’ needs, including programmatic buying and ad retargeting, as well as earned and paid social.
“Beth brings the right balance of traditional and digital media experience to help our
clients communicate more effectively in this increasingly competitive marketplace,” said Kevin Wilson, president of Esrock Partners. “Her position is crucial to the future of this agency and the growth of our clients’ businesses as well.”
“It is exciting to be part of an innovative and street smart group of professionals,” said Distel-Grady. “The independent full-service agency model lends itself to true collaboration and results orientation.”
