Vollrath Announces Foodservice Leadership Additions

Welcomes new senior vice president of operations.

The Vollrath Co. LLC has announced new employee appointments and promotions.

Paul Egbert has been promoted to vice president – Smallwares and Countertop Equipment and Brian Hedlund has been promoted to vice president – Serving Systems and Components. Additionally, Daniel Glusick has joined the Vollrath leadership team as senior vice president of operations.

In their new roles, Egbert and Hedlund are responsible for driving business results and directing and executing the goals, strategies, plans and procedures for their respective business units. Both Egbert and Hedlund report to Paul Bartelt, president and CEO.

Egbert previously served as vice president of marketing for 11 years, where he was responsible for driving growth through product development, directing the company’s strategy planning process and leading the development and execution of marketing communications and branding strategies across all Vollrath businesses. Egbert earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.

Hedlund previously served as director of category management. Before joining Vollrath Co., he held the position of marketing manager at the Kohler Co., responsible for leading product management within the bathroom fixture group. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Nevada-Reno, and his Masters of Business Administration from Duke University.

Dan Glusick.

Within his role as senior vice president of operations, Glusick leads the entire Vollrath supply chain organization. This includes operations, purchasing, environmental health and safety, distribution and customer service across Vollrath’s global facilities in the U.S., Mexico, China and Hong Kong.

Before joining Vollrath, Glusick most recently served as vice president – Engineering, Innovation and Rexnord Business System at Rexnord Industries, where he served for 10 years. Before Rexnord, he worked at Intermatic Incorporated and was responsible for 3,500 employees and five plants across the U.S., Mexico and China. He has significant experience in the development and implementation of lean management, continuous improvement, and cultural change strategy to drive profitable growth. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his Masters of Science in engineering management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

“We are proud to extend new responsibilities to Paul and Brian and happy to welcome Dan to our senior leadership team,” said Bartelt. “I’m confident they will each make a positive impact on Vollrath in their respective roles.”
