The National Coffee Day promotion at participating Pilot and Flying J Travel Centers is valid for customers in the U.S. and Canada from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. EDT on Friday, Sept. 29.

Sept. 29 is National Coffee Day, and to celebrate, Pilot Flying J is offering guests a free small cup of Pilot coffee or another hot beverage of their choice, including tea and cappuccino.

Available at more than 750 Pilot and Flying J locations, guests can redeem their cup when displaying an online coupon available at http://pilotcoffee.pilotflyingj.com or at Pilot Flying J’s Facebook page to be displayed at the time of purchase in-store at any time on Sept 29.

As the end of summer nears, companies are preparing to meet consumers’ autumn demands for pumpkin flavorings in their coffee. Pilot Flying J, based in Knoxville, Tenn., recently debuted its Pumpkin Caramel Macchiato.

Pilot Flying J sources its coffee from top regions around the world, such as Columbia, Indonesia and Brazil, and brings it back to the U.S. to be ‘roasted for the road’ locally in Portland, Ore.

The roasting process includes Pilot Flying J’s own master roaster overseeing the entire process and making sure all seven blends feature great taste with a proper coffee to water ratio. Many locations also feature Pilot Flying J’s unique coffee hosts and hostesses, who work to keep coffee equipment in working order and containers filled with fresh, hot coffee, as well as help guests choose the right blend for their tastes and needs.
