Grand c-store opening event set for this Friday at the new High’s convenience store.
The Churchville High’s, located at 2906 Churchville Road, opened its doors to customers on Thursday, Sept. 20.
The store has eight fueling positions along with a small but well designed convenience store carrying a wide variety of convenience and snack items. The High’s signature foodservice offering includes: High’s Fryers fried chicken, High’s Heritage hand dipped ice cream, milkshakes and sundaes, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, made-to-order hot dogs, fresh sandwiches and salads, pizza as well as a wide variety of hot and cold beverages.
A Grand Opening Celebration will be held on Friday, Sept. 28. The High’s team will host all-day event running from 10 a.m. -4 p.m. The first 150 customers to visit the store will receive a free reusable High’s mug filled with surprises. Various vendors will provide samples to go along with the hand-dipped ice cream and chicken samples.

In 1928, the High’s brand was born— the ice-cream store chain grew rapidly throughout the Mid-Atlantic States. At one time there were more than 500 locations, making High’s the largest ice-cream store chain in the world! In 2012, Carroll Independent Fuel acquired High’s and began to build off the strong heritage that everyone knows and loves. Today, High’s is a chain of 48 convenience stores run by a team of 500 individuals.
