Krispy Krunchy Chicken becomes official fried chicken of New Orleans Pelicans.
Krispy Krunchy Chicken, one of the nation’s fastest quick-service foodservice concepts, has formed a five-year marketing partnership with the New Orleans Pelicans NBA Basketball Team.
As part of the deal, Krispy Krunchy Chicken has not only become the Official Fried Chicken of the New Orleans Pelicans, but will also be the only fried chicken vendor for the Smoothie King Center operating out of three concession stands in the facility at all events; sports and concerts.
Krispy Krunchy will have two in-game fan experiences. When the game clock winds down to five minutes during any Pelicans home game, those last five minutes become “Krunch Time” with fun displays all around the arena and on TV. Also, during the fourth quarter, the “Fowl Line” promotion goes into effect. If an opposing-team player misses two free throws in a row, anyone holding a ticket stub from that game is entitled to a free small side from any participating Krispy Krunchy Chicken in the surrounding area by presenting their ticket stub on the day after the game (valid one day after game only).

Krispy Krunchy Chicken was recognized by Thrillist, an online restaurant and food review media company, as “America’s Best Fried Chicken You’ve Never Heard Of” in 2017. Krispy Krunchy currently has more than 2,400 locations located across 46 states plus American Samoa and Mexico.
