Royal Farms Golf Tournament has donated more than $1 million to charities since 2011.
Royal Farms continues to support the communities it serves. More recently it raised funds for charities through its Charity Golf Tournament and Chickenpalooza promotion.
Since 2011, Royal Farms has held an annual Charity Golf Tournament that has raised over a million dollars to benefit charities in need. This year, the golf tournament took place mid-October at Greenspring Valley Hunt Club in Baltimore, Md. Living Classrooms Foundation and St Francis Neighborhood Center were the two beneficiaries of the charitable amount this year.
“We are grateful to Royal Farms and their partners for their incredible support during this wonderful annual golfing event,” said James Bond, CEO of Living Classroom. “This contribution will allow us to continue our mission to disrupt the cycle of poverty in targeted areas of Baltimore through our hands-on education, job training, health and wellness, and violence prevention programs; ultimately making our families and communities safer, stronger, healthier and more resilient.”
Also, in addition to the annual golf tournament, Royal Farms recently presented a check to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center for $100,000 from proceeds from the company’s Chickenpalooza promotion that ran during July and August. Royal Farms also donates to the surrounding community at the opening of all new stores and fulfills numerous requests via their website for charities seeking cases of bottled water or food donations.
Royal operates approximately 200 c-stores in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
